Dandelion Blossom Fritters
Did you know that all parts of the dandelion are edible and delicious?
The flower can be made into fritters or beverages. The leaves can be sautéed as greens or dried for making tea. And the roots make one of the best tasting and most medicinal teas you’ve ever had.
One of my very favorite recipes is Dandelion Blossom Fritters. My recipe is gluten and dairy-free and delicious!
1 cup quinoa flour (could be any kind)
1 cup rice milk (could be any kind)
1- cups dandelion flowers, stems removed
Preheat pan with oil on medium high.
Dip flower in batter.
Place flower down in pan, then flip after about 1-2 min or when golden.
Remove from flame and cool on plate for 3-5 min (if you can wait!).
Eat them as they are, salted, or dipped in syrup or honey.
